Meet Our "A"mazing Staff!

Audrey Manley, LMT

Ms. Audrey discovered her deep love and dance and the performing arts at the age of 3.  Her theater credits include performing with Actor's and Children's Theater of Tulsa in Rogers and Hammerstein's "Cinderella", "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer", and a principal role in "Cheaper by the Dozen".  She was also featured as a Snow Dancer in Bartlesville Children's Theater's production of "The Wizard of Oz".

In 2007 she moved to Los Angeles to further pursue her acting and dancing career, taking regular dance classes at both Millennium Dance Complex and Santa Monica Performing Arts Center whenever she wasn't on a set.  Her television credits where she was hired specifically for her dancing abilities are Disney's "Hannah Montana", "CSI:NY" and the 2008 MTV VMA awards (featured in T.I.'s "Whatever You Like" performance).

Ms. Audrey made the decision to move back home after her father became seriously ill and in the summer of 2011 she opened the doors of "Studio A" now known as "A+ Dance Academy". One of the greatest joys and accomplishments of her life is helping her students grow and sharing the love of the arts with them.

As a licensed massage therapist, Ms. Audrey has a much deeper understanding and respect for body mechanics than the average instructor. Her TOP priority when teaching the art of dance is the safe and effective use of age appropriate technique for each individual dancer.

Tabitha Bates

Like our owner, Miss Tabitha began dancing at the age of 3.  She took a few years off to pursue other activities, but rediscovered her passion for the art of dance at age 7.  After receiving instruction from a few local studios she found her forever dance home here at A+ Dance Academy.  She was thrilled with the quality of Ms. Audrey's instruction and how quickly her dance technique improved.

At age 18, she began teaching her own classes and choreographing competitive routines.  She received many platinum awards and high scores including a special judge's recognition for her Hip Hop duet "Fancy".

Her plans are to continue teaching dance and working hard to better herself on both a personal and professional level.  Though she truly loves ALL styles of dance, Miss Tabitha says that Jazz and Hip Hop hold a special place in her heart which is why she's such a brilliant choice for instruction in these styles!
